• Golf Outing – Thursday, May 22^nd – 1 PM Shotgun Start – Bay Pointe Golf Club.
  • 4th Annual Funds Fore Fireworks Golf Outing! This is a great opportunity to enjoy a day on the greens while supporting a great cause. All proceeds will go towards funding the 2025 Middle Straits Lake Fireworks on June 27th.
  • There will be prizes for Hole-in-One achievements, and don’t miss out on Middle Straits Lake merchandise for sale at the course.

• Annual Meeting – Friday, June 6^th – 7 PM – Bloomer Park
  • We have reserved the covered pavilion. We will be going over all of the lake business from the past year as well as the plans for the future.

• Weed harvesting – There will be two cuts this year. Currently we are looking at Mid-June and the 2^nd or 3^rd week of August – We kindly ask everyone to pull in their floating swim platforms to make navigation easier weed cutters. We also need full cooperation of Eldora property owners to make sure that we have all email addresses to notify the day of planned canal weeding. The harvester will not go down the canal if there are any boats due to a previous issue.

• 2025 Middle Straits Lake Fireworks – Friday, June 27^th
  • 4^th Annual Middle Straits Lake Fireworks at Sunset!
    • The MSLIA has contracted GEN-X Pyrotechnics to conduct a firework display that will be launched from a barge on June 27^th. It will be located in the center of lake across from Bloomer Park. There will be a Sheriff boat patrolling to keep boats a safe distance away.

Past Events

• Boat Parade – 12^th Annual Boat Independence Day Boat Parade will start at 8 PM on July 4^th at the east end of the lake and will navigate around the lake. Decorate your boat and bring your friends, or cheer everyone on from shore! The social committee will award a prize to the best decorated boat.

• ”FIRECRACKERS” a new fundraising event for the Middle Straits Lake Fireworks

• First Annual Volleyball Tournament – Sunday, August 18^th, 2024 –
  • 4 person teams at $60 a team
  • Winning team will get $100
  • Must have 2 females per team
  • Double elimination
  • All proceeds go to Twin Beach Clubhouse Fund
  • Tournament starts at 10 AM

• Euchre Tournament – Saturday, January 11^th, 2025 at CEBIA Clubhouse to raise funds for the Middle Straits Lake Fireworks.
  • Target number of players – 48 max (or reduced number of players in increments of 4 players)
  • 6 matches of 8 hands per match
  • Unlimited points
  • Highest number of points wins
  • Everyone plays every time
  • Each person plays as an individual
  • Registration fee $40 per person
  • Prizes; First $250, Second $150, Third $50.

• Super Bowl Squares – This is another of our fundraisers to help pay for the Middle Straits Lake Fireworks display which will launch on June 27^th, 2025 this year.

    • $250 payouts for 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters and final score.

• Winter Party – Saturday, February 1^st, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 on the ice in front of Twin Beach Park at the east end of the lake.
  • TB CHILI COOK OFF –
    • Chili Cook Off: Bring large crockpot of homemade chili to beach by 1:15 to enter
    • Judged by WB Fire Department
      • 1^st Place Prize – $50.00 & Trophy
      • 2^nd Place Prize – $40.00 & Trophy
      • 3^rd Place Prize – $30.00 & Trophy
• There will be fun activities for the whole family including hot dogs, chips, hot chocolate, pop and beer.

Twin Beach Park Association will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur while at the TBPA or on the lake during Winterfest.

• Bowling Fundraiser – Saturday, April 12^th – 1 PM to 4 PM – Wonderland Lanes
  • 3^rd Annual Bowling for Booms Fireworks Fundraiser – Wonderland Lanes (8265 Richardson Road, Commerce Township)
    • Get a group together and join us for bowling, pizza and soda. 3 hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental, pizza and fountain pop.
